In this fast paced world we live in, finding time to sit down and enjoy a meal is challenging!
Our nutrition hero, Andrea Nakayama recommends sitting down and eating mindfully. How? By setting down your utensil between each bite to slow things down. Doing so will allow you to truly enjoy and appreciate the food that’s been prepared, but also help with the digestion process. Keep in mind, digestion starts in the mouth: how well we chew our food influences how well we absorb all the healthy nutrients we need.
