Our Workout Prescription for Crazy Busy Days
Ever had a day like this? You drive to work, spend eight hours chained to your desk, then drive home again only to collapse on the couch in an exhausted heap. We get it: some days it’s tough to carve out 30 minutes for exercise, let alone a whole hour. But regardless of how crazy your schedule is, we’re betting you can find 10 minutes here or there to get up and move.
To help you move more and sit less, we’re writing you a one-day workout prescription featuring three of our favorite 10-minute barre3 Online workouts. You don’t have to be in exercise clothes, you don’t have to drive anywhere, you don’t even have to shower afterwards. All you have to do is press play.
Morning: barre3 Energy Flow
This energizing sequence is the perfect way to wake up your body, focus your mind, and set yourself up for success. In just 10 minutes, you’ll feel ready to take on whatever the day throws at you.
This 10-minute workout is the perfect mix of targeted core work and restorative, calming postures. It’s a great way to wind down before dinner or bedtime (we’ve been known to do this one in our jammies). It uses a barre3 core ball, but a rolled-up towel will also work just fine.
Noon: Standing 10
Chances are, you’ve spent the last few hours sitting at a desk. Time to refresh your body with this standing core sequence. It’s filled with do-anywhere moves that will combat the mid-day energy slump. Evening: barre3 Cardio Power Core
