Spring Challenge Expert: Andrea Nakayama
I’m so thrilled to team up with functional nutritionist Andrea Nakayama for the Spring Challenge! Although all of you challengers will meet her today at 4pm PDT during our first live lecture, I wanted to give her a shout out now and explain why I’m so excited to have her by my side over the next four weeks.*
Andrea is an educator at heart, and she’s highly respected in her field (she even caught Oprah’s attention recently! Look for her in the June issue of O Magazine). She believes that what you put on your plate affects how you feel, and she sees food as a way to revitalize and replenish the body.
Over the years, Andrea has empowered thousands worldwide worldwide—myself included—to take ownership of their health. When I first met Andrea, I was eating some foods that were overly processed, sugary, and low in healthy fats. As a result, I was puffy, bloated, and I wasn’t sleeping well. Sound familiar? With just a few changes to my diet, Andrea helped my body heal. I gained tons of energy, started sleeping better, and even enjoyed brighter skin.
