Tori Fox opened barre3 Raleigh when, after a successful real estate career, she decided it was time for something more family-friendly. After years of attending all types of fitness classes, Tori began taking barre3 classes online and knew that she had to bring it to Raleigh. As a mother of two, efficiency is key. Tori loves barre3 because it’s functional, and she has seen significant changes in her posture since starting her practice. The workouts have also alleviated her ten-year battle with back and knee pain. Outside of barre3 Tori likes to run, travel with her family, spend time outdoors, and be with friends. She and her husband, Casey, own four Mellow Mushroom restaurants and are parents to Anda and Gracie.

“Hi, my name is Lauren Stone, and I’m the proud owner of barre3 Westfield. I first discovered barre3 while teaching elementary school in San Jose, California in 2016, and I’ve been hooked ever since I stepped foot into my very first class. I love the unique combination of strength conditioning, cardio, and mindfulness, and that I always feel better after taking class. After having my first daughter, I decided to pause my teaching career to focus on raising my family. Soon after, I became a barre3 instructor, which allowed me to use my passion for teaching to connect with a community that supported and inspired me. My family and I relocated to the East Coast in 2019 after having my second daughter, and I am thrilled to bring barre3 to the Westfield community to help people learn to be balanced in body and empowered from within.”

Katie Torres comes to barre3 as a mother of two, a former dental hygienist of 15 years, and a fitness instructor in San Francisco, California. After her first barre3 class, Katie felt like the aspects of balance and mindfulness were just what she was looking for as a new mom adjusting to a full-time work schedule. Upon moving to Salt Lake City, the opportunity to move on from her dental hygiene career presented itself, and Katie started thinking about what’s next. Katie found herself lacking the sense of community that barre3 provided, which was especially true as she shifted her focus to life as a stay-at-home mother. Now, Katie is thrilled to bring barre3 and its message of mindfulness, inclusivity, and body positivity to Salt Lake City while raising her two kids with her husband and business partner Adam.
