Move
Congrats—You Finished the Fall Challenge!
You made it to the last day of the Fall Challenge! I knew you would. Congratulations to all participants.
In my 20s, I followed a few restrictive eating programs and detoxes, and as soon as they were over I was so hungry and deprived that I’d go out for a burger and a beer. I wasn’t balanced, and the plans I followed weren’t sustainable. I designed the barre3 Fall Challenge because I wanted something doable that would be easy to maintain long-term for whole body health. Many of you have told me that you can’t believe how easy (and enjoyable!) it has been for you to integrate healthy eating and regular exercise into your daily life. I love hearing that you’re more energized, toned, and clear-headed.
Wouldn’t it be great to feel this good all the time? It’s possible. I invite you to keep the Fall Challenge going. Maybe five studio classes isn’t sustainable for you – that’s ok. Make it your own. Can you take three to four studio classes a week and supplement with online workouts? Can you try to drink wine only on the weekends instead of having a glass each night with dinner? Is it possible to unplug from electronics by 7pm and create a bedtime ritual? Go inward and think about what you can keep going to set yourself up for success during the busy holiday season and beyond.
The best part about adapting the barre3 lifestyle is that after a while, these habits become a preference. Maybe it’s starting to happen already, maybe it will take a few more weeks. But trust me, we’ve tested this on real people, and testers tell us that they start to prefer working out to sitting on the couch all day. They prefer green tea to coffee. They prefer kale chips to potato chips.
Connect with your local studio owner and instructor team for support. Stick to the barre3 seasonal recipes. Commit to moving more throughout your day, even if it’s just 10 minutes at a time. Check your online subscription for new recipes and workouts—we’re always adding more!
Remember, the first few weeks of any lifestyle change are the hardest, and you’ve officially made it through. Now it’s just a matter of keeping up your healthy new habits so you can continue to feel as amazing as you do right now.
