Spring Challenge Success Stories
We are so proud of our Spring Challengers! Read on to see what some of our participants had to say about their experience, what they learned, and how they’ve changed forever.
I started the Spring Challenge because I wanted to lose weight and tone up for summer. My goal was to drop 5 pounds, but by the third week, I had already lost 6! I really like that I am working on so many areas in a one hour class – strength, posture, cardio, core and balance. Plus, the instructors are so welcoming and motivating. – Mary Vazis, barre3 St. Louis
Before the Spring Challenge, I had never done the 10-minute online workouts. I was skeptical, too attached to the old wisdom that 30 minutes of exercise is the minimum. But then I tried breaking up my workday with one or two of these workouts, and it was a revelation. It forced me to take a break from sitting at my desk in front of the computer, and gave me a quick blast of energy. Now if I have 10 minutes to kill between tasks or appointments, I try to get in a workout, and I enjoy the endorphin rush that comes with the “afterburn” throughout the day. – Holly Meck, barre3 New Orleans
I am immensely grateful for having found barre3! Never in my life have I looked forward to physical activities, especially working out. My perspective has completely changed. Outside of the physical changes that are happening (which I love) I am more emotionally and mentally stronger than I ever have been. I have more energy and am more focused. I have lost 1.5 inches on each thigh, 1 inch off my waist, and .5 inches off my stomach! I know I’ll keep losing inches if I keep this lifestyle up. My family is noticing how my body is reshaping and I am feeling more comfortable in my own skin – finally. I recently signed up for the unlimited month of class. I plan on continuing this challenge on my own for the next month to really solidify these habits. So excited to continue this adventure and change my life. – Janessa Bruce, barre3 Eugene
To put it simply, I’m a happier person since completing the Spring Challenge. I have a new found energy and lightness that is evident to those around me. My husband actually told me I was glowing.
