SADIE LINCOLN RECOGNIZED BY MO100 TOP IMPACT CEO RANKING AND PORTLAND BUSINESS JOURNAL’S WOMEN OF INFLUENCE 2023
We are beyond excited to share that barre3 CEO and Co-Founder Sadie Lincoln has been making waves in the business world, winning two recent accolades!
This month she was honored with a MO100 Top Impact CEO Ranking. Each year, Big Path Capital creates this list to honor the 100 most impactful leaders sparking positive environmental and social change through the companies they run.
“The MO100 is ranked based on companies’ proven commitment to redefining capitalism by both revenue growth AND creating meaningful social impact,” Sadie said. “We are all driven by redefining what success in fitness means. Success in fitness is practicing feeling REALLY good in your own body—just as you are in this very moment. This mindset is foundational to being truly empowered AND getting sustainable results.”
Since our launch in 2008, barre3 has been on a mission to challenge the unhealthy and unrealistic expectations that persist in society around exercise and fitness. Through efficient + effective workouts that place equal importance on strength, cardio, and mindfulness, we focus on how you feel, rather than external measures of success—teaching you to be balanced in body and empowered from within. Whether it’s in the studio, at home, or on the go, we strive to create an inclusive, body-positive environment where everyone is welcome.
Secondly, Sadie was chosen as one of Portland Business Journal’s Women of Influence 2023. The publication recognized Sadie for leading barre3 through its impressive expansion to more than 150 locations, followed by navigating uncharted waters of a global pandemic, guiding the company through shutdowns of gyms and in-person fitness businesses. In a Q&A with the publication, Sadie reflected on what approach she took during the pandemic to keep momentum in such an uncertain time: “I think the pandemic affirmed the importance of empowering talented and purpose-driven leaders to lead barre3,” she said. “I learned the art of being crystal clear on where my unique strengths can serve the company and, even more importantly, where I need to take the back seat and trust the ride!” Continuing about what excites her looking at the year ahead, she said, “In this moment, we are all incredibly grateful our doors are open, classes are full, and we are able to do what we love: helping people take back their fitness and feel empowered, healthy, and vibrant.”
We’re so humbled that these two organizations recognized our efforts and impact, with Sadie at the helm.
