Introducing B3 Strength Training
We’re so excited to announce the launch of our brand-new online workout: b3 Strength Training. This challenging total-body workout is going to help you increase strength and push past plateaus by using the training principle of progressive overload (that’s a fancy way of saying that you’ll increase the amount of weight you lift over time).
Designed to complement your barre3 Signature practice, b3 Strength Training uses heavier weights (5-15 pounds) and resistance bands, with our expert instructors there to guide you every step of the way on proper lifting technique and body alignment. The workout focuses on slow, intentional movement to help you move safely with heavier weights. Although you won’t find a cardio burst like in our barre3 Signature workout, you can still expect your heart rate to increase and to break a sweat.
Another difference you’ll experience with b3 Strength Training is that every workout will follow a sets-and-reps format. This is an essential aspect of strength-building workouts. The repetition fatigues your muscles to build strength, and it leads to measurable progress over time.
If you’ve never tried a strength-training workout before or feel intimidated by they prospect of using heavier weights, know that we’ve got you covered—as with every workout in our online experience, we’ll have a modifier in every workout to show you how to adjust the moves to suit your body’s needs.
