TRANSPORT YOURSELF TO A TROPICAL BEACH WITH THIS SHAKE
One sip of Alison Wu’s coconut-and-banana-powered smoothie, and you can almost hear the waves lapping the shore on a tropical beach.
COCONUT + MACA SHAKE
2½ bananas
4 Tbs. almond butter
3 Tbs. extra virgin coconut oil
2 Tbs. chia seeds
¾ tsp. maca powder*
¼ tsp. ground cardamom
¼ tsp. freshly grated nutmeg
½ cup coconut milk
4 ice cubes
Dried coconut chips or shredded coconut (as garnish)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a high-speed blender, blend all ingredients on medium until smooth.
2. Garnish with dried coconut chips or shredded coconut, and enjoy!
