For a long time in the fitness world, a Bridge Lift was a Bridge Lift, plain and simple. But recent research has unveiled new information about how small tweaks in the pose can target different parts of your body—essentially, one version is more of a stretch for your hip flexors, while the other version is a strengthener for your glutes. Always working to evolve the barre3 class to be on the cusp of the latest science, our training team now includes two types of Bridge Lifts into our workout. What you feel in the posture depends on which type you’re doing.
