barre3 Approved Super Bowl Snacks
Our team pulled together a barre3-approved Super Bowl party menu that’s sure to please Seattle Seahawk and New England Patriot fans alike! All of the below recipes include a balance of fiber, protein, and healthy fats, and they all contain whole-foods ingredients. Read on for a collection of our favorite satisfying (and healthy!) snacks.
Laguna Niguel owners Jessica Leonard and Nicki Insley are obsessed with this Raw Kale Salad with Spicy Peanut Vinaigrette from Dishing Up the Dirt. They told us that the peanut-butter-based salad dressing also makes a great veggie dip.
Every Super Bowl party needs a hero dip recipe (or two). We’re planning to make this classic Perfect Guacamole from Gimme Some Oven and this drool-worthy Creamy Kale and Spinach Dip from The Minimalist Baker. Serve the dips with veggies or some gluten-free chips. (Functional nutritionist Andrea Nakayama turned us on to Garden of Eatin’ Red Hot Blues.)
We can always count on Danielle Walker from Against All Grain to deliver satisfying dishes! These healthier Buffalo Wings with Dairy-Free Ranch Dressing are baked instead of fried, and they don’t have the breaded coating that many other wing recipes have. Enjoy!
Founder Chris Lincoln (Sadie’s husband and business partner) loves barre3’s Slow Cooker Moroccan Stew from Eat Live Run blogger Jenna Beaugh. Flavorful and delicious, it makes a large batch, serving six to eight people.
Ruby Telhorster, an instructor at barre3 Berwyn, is making these No Bake Peanut Butter Cup Bars from The Detoxinista. They’re a cinch to whip up and incredibly decadent.
This barre3 Italian Chickpea Salad is one of Sadie Lincoln’s favorites. She recently brought it to a potluck, and it was a huge hit. Whip up a batch and serve by itself, on a bed of greens, or with quinoa.
Communications Manager Kait Hurley is obsessed with barre3’s Nutty Caramel Corn. For the past few years, it’s been her tradition to make it on Super Bowl Sunday. This year, she’s making a double batch to serve at a family party.
Living Well Kitchen blogger and barre3 New Orleans studio manager Meme Inge recommends these Perfect Baked Fries. We like to make them with coconut oil to make them a little sweeter. Dip them in unsweetened ketchup and you’ll realize they’re way tastier than traditional fries.
