Sliced Apple & Almond Butter
I have to confess that I’m a green apple fan. They’re low in sugars and they’re usually available all year long. When eating an apple, we recommend leaving the skin on for extra fiber. Plus the best nutrients in the apple are hidden just beneath the skin. Peel and you lose some of the key goodness.
SLICED APPLE & ALMOND BUTTER
1 serving
INGREDIENTS:
1 apple of choice
2 tablespoons almond butter
PREPARATION:
1. Core apple and slice (or slice around the core).
2. Spread each slice with some almond butter.
3. Eat!
