3 WINTER SMOOTHIES THAT WON’T CHILL YOU TO THE BONE
If you’re a smoothie-for-breakfast kind of person, winter can be tricky. You still want the convenience of the packed-with-nutrients grab-and-go breakfast, but an ice-cold anything when it’s already ice cold outside doesn’t exactly appeal.
Good news: We have a way for you to stay true to your smoothie-loving self even on the chilliest days (and don’t worry, we’re not going to recommend that you heat up your smoothie). During the winter months, drink smoothies with warming spices.
What’s a warming spice? Think anything you’d add to a pot of steaming apple cider, or the flavors you find in chai: cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom, cumin, coriander, black pepper, ginger, and turmeric are all great options.
Below are our favorite smoothies from the B3 Kitchen, warming spices included. Whip one up and drink your cozy.
