For me, even a challenging position like Power Leg feels a little easier when I’m listening to my favorite music. There’s just something about a great power song that energizes my body and helps me find the extra motivation I need to push my edge. (If you’ve taken a live studio class, you know what I’m talking about!)
In fact, studies have proven that music can give your body a boost by reducing the sensation of fatigue, improving motor skills, and enhancing endurance. That’s why music is such an important part of the barre3 studio experience, and why we put so much thought into our class playlists. Lately, we’ve been rocking out to tracks from Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, and Usher.
